Why they Fear Tulsi Gabbard (RFK, Jr. and the Confirmation Crucible)

Tulsi Gabbard, Trump's pick to oversee US spy agencies, faces grilling ...

Some of President Donald Trump’s nominees for cabinet positions are running into fierce opposition from the Swamp. In the case of Tulsi Gabbard, nominee for Director of National Intelligence, the Swamp’s fear is morphing into outright panic, which explains the defamatory attacks by Trump’s enemies. Naturally, they accuse her of being a Russian spy, but the one-time Democratic member of Congress hardly fits the propagandists’ claims about the Trump administration’s alleged “fascism.” So why is the opposition to Tulsi Gabbard so fierce?

Three reasons:

First, she departed the globo-leftist fold for the Trump campaign. Second, as investigative journalist Matt Taibbi told Tucker Carlson, the Deep State is in a deep panic over Trump’s Executive Order on the Weaponization of Government. That order specifically empowers the  Director of National Intelligence to conduct a wide-ranging investigation into the possible misdeeds of the entire intelligence community. That’s a task, as Taibbi quipped, that could keep her busy “from now until the end of time.” Taibbi believes such powers would set the stage for investigations reminiscent of the Church Committee hearings on misconduct by federal law enforcement and intelligence agencies in the 1970s:

Third, Gabbard defended Edward Snowden, who blew the whistle on the NSA’s warrantless spying on American citizens. Journalist Glenn Greenwald, who was involved in releasing Snowden’s revelations, has refuted the establishment’s lies about Snowden, what he did, and what he revealed, as well as the related lies about Gabbard. Gabbard wants to see Snowden pardoned. She has also observed that James Clapper, former DNI, lied to Congress in March 2013 about the NSA’s activities. As Greenwald noted, Snowden did not “defect” to — where else? — Russia, as the Deep State’s minions claim. He was forced to remain there when the U.S. State Department revoked his passport as he tried to make his way to Ecuador for political asylum. Regarding Gabbard, the Deep State has pressured her to give up her opposition to Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, which allows warrantless surveillance of American citizens on American soil:

Thus, the Deep State views Tulsi Gabbard as an especially dangerous nominee for the DNI position.

Meanwhile, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. is also enduring a crucible of venomously hostile hearings. What is at stake for the Swamp and the Deep State — the Pharmaceutical-Industrial-Security complex — is billions of dollars in profits leveraged by Big Pharma’s regulatory capture of the Food and Drug Administratration. That’s not to mention potential revelations about the Deep State’s numerous experimental labs located around the world that could well be bioweapons related, as well as the questionable actions of government agencies during the COVID episode (as Taibbi observed in the segment above), and the safety and healthiness of the food Americans eat. Power, influence, money, and control are all at stake for the interests Kennedy opposes. He is determined to get at the truth and to push reforms to throw those interests off the taxpayer gravy train. Greenwald posted a segment of his System Update podcast on the RFK, Jr. hearings:

The vitriol directed at Kennedy even surpasses that heaped on Tulsi Gabbard. As I’ve noted previously, Donald Trump himself is a dangerous — from the Swamp/Deep State point of view — disrupter who is overturning a globalist consensus that has had an iron grip on Washington, D.C., for some time. He is an alien to them, a man from outside the managerial bureaucracy and its allied structures. The Swamp is panicking as Trump begins his campaign to root out those who have ignored their oath of office and disdained our heritage of freedom. Gabbard and Kennedy are two of Trump’s chosen foot soldiers to undercut the permanent bureaucracy and make it accountable to the people. One could say the same of Kash Patel, who will undoubtedly face similar slanders and personal attacks over his nomination to head — and clean up — the FBI.

Trump and company are kicking the top off the DC anthill. The frightened insects are scurrying to protect themselves and rebuild the secretive protective mound that gave cover to them for so long. It’s quite a sight to behold. We are witnessing the death struggle of a corrupt system that has betrayed the country and its people in its relentless pursuit of power. The Blob’s pod people are arrogant, drunk on hubris, and filled with hatred for anyone who might question their supreme right to rule. They don’t give a damn about elections or “our democracy,” and will go to great lengths to preserve their sinecures, defaming people who have risked their careers, their personal reputations, and, in the case of Trump, his life, to set things right.
