After the “conservative case for gay marriage” and the “conservative case for transgender rights,” James Kirkpatrick, probably correctly, assumes that we will soon be subjected to the “conservative case for Critical Race Theory,” as well. Well, what’s to stop it? If alleged conservatives can accept “transgender rights,” they’ll cave in on anything.
I’ve already heard ordinary conservatives voicing support for the California gubernatorial candidacy of “Caitlyn Jenner,” a sure sign of demoralization. With people like that representing what’s laughably called “the right” in what’s left of this country, who needs leftists? The very idea that “Caitlyn” can be a conservative turns conservatism inside out, no matter what “she” says about “transgender girls” competing against, you know, real girls in sports. That such a mentally disturbed person can be treated seriously tells us a lot about why real conservatives always lose. The norming of “trans” mania continues.
