Oh, I’m an Old Deplorable

O

A parody.

To the tune of “I’m a Good Old Rebel.”

Oh, I’m an Old Deplorable,
Now that’s just what I am,
And for this Rainbow nation, I do not give a damn,
I’m glad I voted against her, I only wished we’d won,
And I won’t beg forgiveness, for anything I done.

I hate this PC nation, and everything they do,
I hate the safe spaces, and LGBTQ,
I hate diversity committees, transvestites in the band,
And kneeling for the flag, when heroes used to stand.

I proudly went with Donald, four long years ago,
Stood for rallies in the bleachers, and shouted MAGA in the snow,
I was cursed by Commies, wherever I would go,
But I melted me some snowflakes, and I’d like to melt some more.

A couple million snowflakes melted, that deep November night,
Millions screamed in anguish, and others shook in fright,
But Donald brought Ivanka, and Jared Kushner, too,
So for every bold step rightward, he’d stumble backwards one or two.

Now I don’t think my ballot can undo it all no more,
But I ain’t gonna love ’em,
Now that is certain sure,
And I don’t want no pardon, for what I was and am,
I won’t be reconstructed, and I do not give a damn.
I won’t be reconstructed, and I do not give a damn.
